Bezpłatne warsztaty Breakin\', Graffiti, Djin\'
„The Soul of Hip-Hop" project will take place simultaneously in the UK (Newcastle) and Poland (Warsaw) from 1 May to 31 July 2010.
This project assumptions aim to spread the positive aspects of the Hip - Hop culture and reveals all its elements, with a focus on dance (Breakin\'), music (DJing) and graphics (Graffiti). In this project we want to show the fusing of all these elements (breakin\', djin\', graffiti), forming one great cultural unity. Among the youth we would like to spread knowledge about Hip-Hop culture that is essential condition for their future development and development of Hip-Hop culture. Another important element is the building of positive references to youth culture among those who draw unflattering opinion of the stereotypes created around it. Popularization the idea of Hip-Hop workshops through the youth participants of our project may reveal another initiators of new projects, thus the projects in this field will benefit from new opportunities. In Warsaw, classes will be held for three months once a week for 1.5 hours in each discipline, in Newcastle for two weeks every day. Then, two instructors and four participants from Newcastle will come the last week to Warsaw for a joint workshop, which will end one big, open Hip-Hop event. We also want to encourage young people with autism and related disorders by creating for them a separate group with the dancing and graphics workshops, to inspire them to new activities. This part will be implemented in Warsaw, in cooperation with the Association "Not in this fairy tale."
